Through my position as Artist in Residence at Arkansas Tech University, I was commissioned to create this piece as a reflection of the geographic region and community. Through the design and planning of community-oriented events, the project is geared towards strengthening the relationship between the university and city of Russellville. 

I partnered with a local photographer to develop 3 options for the central image, then organized a city-wide vote on the design, prompting participation by over 1,000 individuals. The entire community was invited to help me paint the mural as a giant paint-by-number, however this event had to be cancelled due to Covid-19. Instead, I created a series of timelapse videos and shared them via social media as I painted the mural solo.
